Drew, containing campaign literature, circulars, and clippings related to Boston politics, in particular Democratic primaries and elections in Ward 17 of the city. Among the topics covered are Drew's run, for a time, at Thomas F. Curley's seat in the House which was vacated in 1905 because Curley was in prison; Curley's attempt to regain the seat in the election of 1905; the Tammany Club and its support of both Thomas and James M. Curley and other candidates; and other Boston races. Other candidates represented include Theodore A. Glynn and Michael J. McEttrick.
