Political scrapbook, possibly kept by or for Michael S. Drew, containing campaign literature, circulars, and clippings related to Boston politics, in particular Democratic primaries and elections in Ward 17 of the city. Among the topics covered are Drew's run, for a time, at Thomas F. Curley's seat in the House which was vacated in 1905 because Curley was in prison; Curley's attempt to regain the seat in the election of 1905; the Tammany Club and its support of both Thomas and James M. Curley and other candidates; and other Boston races. Other candidates represented include Theodore A. Glynn and Michael J. McEttrick.
